I would think that none would really be accurate, I tried one from big fish games and could tell quickly it was programed to give you an edge. Thanks for any replies. A lot of people are still looking at this thread for answers on what to do when you can't get online to play so updating this a bit. I agree with those below who suggested spending some time reading some good poker books.
There are some listed here: Best Holdem Poker book? Poker books that changed your life. For android "million dollar poker" is realy nice For PC you should try "Texas holdem poker deluxe edition" or if you're a patient person WSOP Battle for the bracelets.
If the main goal is to improve your game I think you'd be way better off reading poker books in the office instead of using a poker simulator type computer program. Unfortunately I don't think there are any offline simulations that would be any good at preparing you for real money cash games. You're better off depositing at micro stakes if you can afford it and learning where decisions are influenced by money. Don't waste your time or money with offline software, you need real opponents for real growth and results.

Offline Poker at its best! That said, the AIs are pretty good. To test the AIs I had them play online on real money multiplayer tables and they could hold their own. This app has helped a lot while I'm still learning and improving my poker skills. There aren't many options or settings but, as a beginner, that has reduced the distractions that I've found in other games from the App Store.
The opponents make logical decisions; the gameplay is consistent and challenging. I should also point out that the cards seem to be dealt randomly some developers reduce the quality of cards received in order to overcome limitations of the AI opponents. The only thing I would like to see would be feedback in the Grandma's House version explaining why the recommendation is to check, raise, or fold. Maybe the advice text could be clicked and a bubble containing the reasoning would be popped up?
In any case, I really enjoy the gameplay and look forward to future updates and improvements. Real post, I hover around plus or minus 10k chips usually in the game, simply because I find it fun to actually gamble half my wins on big hands, without the whole "I lost my life to bankruptcy" thing. This app accurately depicts those sudden death hands you want in Hold'em.
The probabilities are definitely overblown on some wins like straights, or even four of a kinds. It helps you feel better though, you CAN actually game this system, and, well, that's kind of appreciated.
BIG selling point for me: I can hone skills without a connection, endless hours of flights. While I generally enjoy this app, I am disappointed that the option to obtain chip credits through taking surveys does not work on the browser for my phone. I assume that this is a glitch rather than being deliberately misleading, but it is still vexing. This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Texas hold 'em also known as Texas holdem , hold 'em , and holdem is a variation of the card game of poker. Two cards, known as the hole cards, are dealt face down to each player, and then five community cards are dealt face up in three stages. The stages consist of a series of three cards "the flop" , later an additional single card "the turn" or "fourth street" , and a final card "the river" or "fifth street".
Each player seeks the best five card poker hand from any combination of the seven cards of the five community cards and their own two hole cards. If a player's best five-card poker hand consists only of the five community cards and none of the player's hole cards, it is called "playing the board". If you play the board on the river, then you can do no better than tie the other player s in the game if no player can make a better hand than the board represents, using either or both hole cards.
Players have betting options to check, call, raise, or fold. Rounds of betting take place before the flop is dealt and after each subsequent deal. Texas hold 'em is the H game featured in H. E and in H. In Texas hold 'em, as in all variants of poker , individuals compete for an amount of money or chips contributed by the players themselves called the pot. Because the cards are dealt randomly and outside the control of the players, each player attempts to control the amount of money in the pot based either on the hand they are holding, or on their prediction as to what their opponents may be holding and how they might behave.
The game is divided into a series of hands deals ; at the conclusion of each hand, the pot is typically awarded to one player an exception in which the pot is divided between two or more is discussed below.
A hand may end at the showdown , in which case the remaining players compare their hands and the highest hand is awarded the pot; that highest hand is usually held by only one player, but can be held by more in the case of a tie. The other possibility for the conclusion of a hand occurs when all but one player have folded and have thereby abandoned any claim to the pot, in which case the pot is awarded to the player who has not folded. The objective of winning players is not to win every individual hand, but rather to make mathematically and psychologically better decisions regarding when and how much to bet, raise, call—or fold.
