So many lovely birds. The park is well kept and nicely laid out. The staff seem to genuinely care about the birds We enjoyed the bird show. There are also reptiles and lemurs. The lemurs even chose to join us in our pictures. The cafe A nice little patch of nature in Fourways, kids and adults will enjoy the bird shows. Only downside is the smell, can become a bit overwhelming and also the lack of places to enjoy something to eat.

The small little cafe in the park does The surrounding gardens are spectacular and everything is clean and neat. Well worth a visit for any age group. The shows that take place at specific times are entertaining, fascinating and educational - relaxing and fun for kids.

The daily bird show is always entertaining for the whole family. The gardens are beautiful and a lovely day out in the fresh air, hard to believe you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Fourways.

This was out of the world I was blown away with the vastnest and beautiful selection of bird and snakes and just the surrounding area one could sit and chill , definitely a must see. I love this place Not only is it one of the most relaxing and therapeutic sanctuaries in Johannesburg, but the variety of birds is astonishing.

Often referred to as the Montecasino World of Birds, this is a wonderful paradise to get lost in for the entire day — fit for the whole family. It is home to over 1 birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and other small wonders. You can meander along charming walkways within stunning gardens and marvel at a variety of creatures from around the globe. Reptiles and small mammals wander around freely.

The Parrot Gallery has several beautiful Macaws and Cockatoos that roam freely. The Montecasino Bird Gardens also has one of the largest and most diverse private collections of South African Cycads in the world, with over plants from 37 different species. The Flight of Fantasy bird show is always a huge hit, where colourful and talented show birds mesmerize audiences with amazing displays of free, unrestrained flight.

Shows last for approximately 40 minutes, and visitors have the opportunity to purchase a fun photograph with one of the star birds of prey. Shows are held at 11h00 and 15h00 during weekdays, and 11h00, 13h00, and 15h00 during weekends and public holidays.

There is so much to see in this magnificent Bird Garden; go early so you can take your time exploring this wonderland. Open 8h30 to 17h00 daily.
